Promoting Para sport in Malta for athletes with disabilities.
Malta Paralympic Committee is a voluntary organisation dedicated to developing and promoting Paralympic sport across Malta and Gozo. It supports people with disabilities in discovering sporting opportunities, developing their abilities and participating in sport at every level, from beginners to international athletes.
Established in 2018, the Committee is Malta’s official governing body for Paralympic sport and a member of the International Paralympic Committee. Working closely with sports clubs, coaches and national associations, it helps athletes access suitable training opportunities, develop their skills and represent Malta in international competitions.
The organisation believes that sport has the power to build confidence, challenge perceptions and create a more inclusive society.
Through its programmes and partnerships, the Committee supports athletes and promotes inclusion in the following ways:

Helping people with disabilities discover suitable sports and connect with clubs and coaches, making it easier to participate in physical activities and develop new interests.

Guiding athletes through their sporting journey, from grassroots participation to competitive development, and supporting their preparation for national and international competitions.
