The Franciscan Welfare Association, part of the Qawra Parish Djakonija, is a caring parish initiative dedicated to supporting individuals and families in the local community. Rooted in Franciscan values of compassion and service, the Association provides meals and essential food items three times a week, ensuring that no one in the parish is left without care or nourishment. Beyond food distribution, the Association also organizes monthly community meals, creating opportunities for friendship, dignity, and inclusion around a shared table. These gatherings offer not only physical sustenance but also emotional warmth and belonging. Volunteers play a key role in this mission โ helping with food preparation, packaging, delivery, and hospitality during community events.
