Blue Door Education is a voluntary organisation based in Valletta that provides free literacy, language and life skills education for adult refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Malta. Through both in person and online classes, the organisation helps people gain the confidence and practical skills they need to build independent lives and become active members of their new communities.
Founded in 2013, Blue Door Education believes that education is one of the most powerful tools for creating opportunity. Alongside English and literacy classes, the organisation offers digital skills training, financial literacy, mathematics, women only classes with free childcare, and educational resources designed specifically for adult learners. Every programme is delivered by dedicated volunteers in a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.
